Achievement 1: My Introduction Post to Steemit

Hello Everyone,

I am a newcomer here, let me introduce myself to you. I am Imalka and I am 25 year old. My hometown is Kegalle and currently I live in Nugegoda, Sri Lanka.

To spend my leisure time, I used to do some activities as my hobbies. My most favorite hobby is reading. Until most recently, I used to read many books and newspapers. These books can be novels, fiction, translations, classics and so more. However, due to some cases, I was not able to find new books to read. So I used to read novels, blogs, and articles that are posted online.

Not only that, I also enjoy taking photography. Still I am not a good professionistis that but I will try to improve it in future.

And I love to spend time with my parents and my sister. We used to make different types of food together. That gives more happiness for us. Most of the time my sister is the main chef and I am her helper. It also gives time to talk with each other and gives us time to be closer.

Also I love to watch TV series, films. Stranger things, SHERLOCK are some very favorite tv series. Further, one of my favorite hobbies is listening to music via YouTube or radio. Also I have my own collection of them.

I am a final year Undergraduate of Faculty of IT, University of Moratuwa. I schooled at St. Joseph’s college in Kegalle. At school time, I was a carrom player. And I have participated in carrom matches as a single or double player. Also I loved to play badminton too…

As a beginner, I do not have a very good understanding about crypto currency, but I wish I will be able to learn about it with time. Articles that are written by @randulakoralage and @cryptokannon are really helpful to write this post as a newcomer. I would especially like to mention that I got to know about this through the Facebook campaign organized by @damithudaya and helped to start work with Steemit. And also, my friend @rasinkani, gives me great support for this.

Finally, I am grateful by being a member here and I am waiting to share my experiences and knowledge with all of you. And I am really glad to read articles from others and get to know about their experiences.
