Achievement 1: My Introduction Post @ijunawander

Halloo fellow steemians! I hope everyone is enjoying a life full of energy, and good health as we appreciate all the good things in life. Let us always remember to be thankful for all the blessings in life. May we all value our relationship with each other through the spirit of “bayanihan”, a Filipino word which means promoting solidarity through helping each other with the passion of pure heart.

Welcoming abundance and prosperity. The desire to be part in a strong community urges me to make this introduction post. Today, allow me to introduce myself in this wonderful platform. Now, it is my pleasure to begin my introduction by giving my personal background. I will be giving a detailed information about myself starting with my personal information, family background, educational attainment, my skills, and hobbies, and lastly, why I am interested in joining the community.

Getting to know me through steemit. It is my desire to be an open book to everyone, for this reason I want to share to you my personal information. I am Juna S. Babatu-on, 37 years younger a.k.a as @ijunawander in the Steemit community. I was born in a place where history unfolds, Dap-Dap Mactan Lapu-Lapu City known as the “Historic City”. A little trivia about my birthplace: it is the place where the world famous “Battle of Mactan” happened. The Battle of Mactan was the first uprising against foreign colonizers in Philippine History. I’m married for 13 years and our marriage is blessed with our only son. Presently we are residing at San Miguel Cordova Cebu known as the land of happy people especially during our barangay fiesta. I came from a big family where I am the second to the eldest. As of now, though I have my own family, I still support my parents as a way of saying thank you for their sacrifices. I would not be who I am today without their unending support.

Teaching is living a life of sacrifices and happiness. I’m a teacher by profession. I’ve started my teaching career way back 2007 at Mactan National High School. For almost two years now, due to the desire of looking a greener pasture I’ve decided to apply in a higher position and with all thanks with God’s blessings I was accepted in the said position. So now, I’m presently teaching at Pajo National High School- Senior High Department. Let me take this opportunity to say thank you to my colleagues and friends from previous school who have inspired me to join this platform without them I wouldn’t have known about this community. Some people say that I’m an influencer, so probably this is my skill. I want to influence people especially my students so that they can achieve their goals in life. As much as possible I want to see them surpassed my level of expectations. I think almost all teachers have this end in mind and objectives in heart.

Living my childhood dream, turning into reality. Ever since I was a child, I dream of cooking delicious food, it is a reality that there were times that we only survived by picking up small fish from the catches of the fishermen. The craved to taste and eat pork abodo, lechon or even spaghetti and “pancit” was really difficult at that time since money was an issue. So, we only eat what our means of living can afford. Today, I can say that my dream is slowly becoming a reality as I started putting my life into pieces. I’m really excited to share in the community, the different content that I want to share and inspire everyone.
