I am very excited about how far I have gone with these achievement posts and am grateful to God for his grace and strength that brought me this far. I also want to appreciate @xcool24 and @hisgeneral for their tutorials and mentorship. It wouldn't have been easy without them.

My achievement 5 tasks have been completed and duly verified, I am pleased to initiate my achievement 6 task.

Achievement 6 task focuses on community and curation, and the goal is to get users and account holders acquainted with the use of specific third-party applications, enlightening them on how to create a community or join an already existing one. It makes attainable clues and the knowledge of how curation and witness functions and how to vote for witness.

Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?

Yes,

Voting
Below every post is the upvote (green) and downvote (red) buttons with which votings can be carried out.

Upvotes

Upvotes are a way of distributing rewards.
When the Upvote button is pressed, it results in the distribution of reward, and a post is rewarded with a certain amount that comes as a payout for the post. The post payout is likely to be affected by the Steem Power and as well as voting weight.

Downvote

Dissimilar to the upvotes, downvote which is the direct opposite of the upvote is a means of redistributing rewards depending on the influence level of the downvoter. Pressing the downvote button will result in the revsersal of the initial reward back to the reward pool. However, the amount of reward returning to the reward pool is subject to the downvoter's steem power.

Curation

Curation simply means to upvote a post and the person who upvotes or curates a post is referred to as a curator. A curator receives a certain percentage of the total reward given to a post, and this is the curator's reward. In the case of downvoting, there is no reward. As explained by @sapwood, a post is at its reward climax if curated between 5 minutes, 12 hours, and 6 days the age of the post.

What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

A curator loses a certain percentage of his curator's reward when curation is done earlier than 5 minutes of the post. i.e. A curator will lose 20% of his curator's reward should he curate a post that is barely 4 minutes old. The percentage loss will be 40% if the post is 3 minutes old and so on. Therefore, the best voting time for the maximum curator's reward is between 5 minutes, 12 hours, and 6 days.

Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?

I will give my vote to @steemchiller. The reason is for his unique mental apprehension and incredible skill in his amazing development of highly impressive and esteemed blockchain tools like steemworld.org which is a very user-friendly tool.

Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?

I will choose to join the financial security community, the reason being that the community is highly educative, informative, and members and participants are taught how to safeguard their finances on the Steemit platform as well as in real life. The community also makes attainable an educative platform on financial judicious management to mitigate or impede extravagancy and become financially impoverished.

My thanks go to @sapwood for his explicit explanations on this achievement task and also @cryptokannon for the provided guidelines given in respect to this task. I appreciate @xkool24 and @hisgeneral for being supportive. Thank you all for reading!!!
