I believe you all are doing good.So taday i am here to partake in achievement 3 which is plagiarism.
WHAT ACTUALLY PLAGIARISM IS?
Plagiarism is presenting someones else work or ideas as your own with or without their consent.It occurs when someone directly lifts from a person work or idea as his or her and refuse to credit the original person.Appropriation, piracy, counterfeiting,theft, borrowing,passing off are the other names of plagiarism.
TYPES OF PLAGIARISM:
There are various types of plagarism but we will dicuss few types as they included:
1Global Plagiarisms
2Verbatim Plagiarism
3Self Plagiarism
4Incomplete Plagiarism
5Mosaic Plagiarism
GLOBAL PLAGIARISM:
This is the most serious type of plagiarism that happens when someone steals an entire project from one source.
VERBATIM PLAGIARISM:
It occurs when a one person copies the text of another person,without the use of quotation marks and attribution,thus passing it as his or her own
SELF PLAGIARISM:
Self plagarism is describe as recylcling and reusing ones own specific words from previously published texts,In short it is any attempt to take your own proviously text,papers or research and make it appears like brand new.
INCOMPLETE PLAGIARISM:
It invovles not giving all the necessary information your source citation.
MOSIAC PLAGIARISM:
It is also known as patchwork plagiarism.this includes slightlt rephrasing passages or sentences while keeping many of the same words and structure as the original.
WAYS TO AVOID PLAGIARISM:
1Check plagiarism using plagiarism checker such as scribbr.
2Keep tracking the source you consult in your research.
3Citation is paramount and should be properly done to avoid being tagged theft.
4Acknowledge any work used in the process of writing.
