This type is considered the most dangerous among the types of theft, which is the taking of a person's work or study and attributing it to himself.

paraphrasing plagiarism is the most common type of plagiarism, it defined as taking someone else study or writing with some changing in the sentences, but the main idea kept the same and using it as his own work .

  • Mosaic plagiarism

It occurs when a person takes phrases from a source and does not refer to it and then incorporates them into his work.

  • Accidental plagiarism

Sometimes plagiarism can be the result of negligence or mistake by the writer, and this is evident in not putting the quotation marks and mentioning the source, and This type is not common and easiest to avoid

  • Self plagiarism

Occurs when a person reuses thoughts and phrases from a work he previously published without referring to that.

How to avoid plagiarism

When writing any scientific paper or article, be careful to avoid plagiarism, and there are many ways that help us avoid it, including the following:

  • Get in the habit of recording the source of information when conducting research, and taking notes even your information that you previously published to avoid plagiarism due to forgetfulness or negligence.

  • Paraphrasing the text with reference to the original source of course in addition to submitting your own idea, will contribute to sharpening your writing skills, but it should be noted that any distortion of the general ideas of a text is considered plagiarism.
