I bring greetings to everyone of you!
The discussion is on "Steem Security".
It is obvious beyond doubt that, security is an issue that cannot be ignored nor underestimated because it affects the life, success and progress of any platform or software, and can also serve as a protective measure.
I believe we are aware that immediately after registration into this platform, various keys were issued out, I wasn't an exception . The "Master key" was the first key issued to me which activated these other security keys: Posting key, Active key, Owner key and Memo key. Following are the features of the above listed keys, their functions and or permissions;

POSTING KEYS
The Posting key appears to be the frequently used key and the least following the ranking order, used in carrying out activities in all social tools. The posting keys serves the following purposes:

• Post a comment and create a blog
• Upvote and downvote
• Resteem a post
• Follow people and
• Mute accounts

Loging in with this key is advisable as it helps reduce to minimum level, the risk of hacking and places one a safe side.

ACTIVE KEY
The Active key finds itself at the mid-level with the function of handling transactions such steem transfer, buying and selling on the platform, etc. This key is handled with great care and should only be used on trusted application as compromise on this Key may lead to loss of tokens in the wallet.

OWNER KEY
The Owner key has the capacity of altering other keys including the owner key, hence, extreme care is required in handling this key. The Owner key also can be used in restoring one's account at any time. Doing away with interferences and third-party would be an application of wisdom regarding the delicateness of this key.

MEMO KEY
The Memo key serves the function or purpose of encrypting and decrypting messages sent over the blockchain.

• Question 1. Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have, with the assistance rendered by @xkool24 who layed much emphasis on the importance of these various keys required for the community. As soon as my account was created, I backed these keys up and also stored them in a hard drive.

• Question 2. Do you Know the functions of each key as well as it's restrictions?

Yes, just as narrated above, they became much more clearer to me after this task

• Question 3. How do you plan to keep your master password?

The following are the ways I could safely keep them:

• Hard copy form,

• Saving it in Cloud

• In hard drive.

• Question 4. Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes, this is easily be carried out with the use of Active key. Thanks to @xkool24 for frabjous tutorials.

• Question 5. Do you know how to power up your steem?

Yes, kudos to @xkool24, he gave a nice and comprehensible lecture on this. Steem is in a liquid form, hence, can be powered up to continuously build steem power.

Big thanks to you @cryptokannon for your enthusiastic effort in gathering this different achievement(s). This is in deed an ethical way of directly impacting knowledge.
