Today i will be writing my achievement 3 post task (content etiquette and Plagiarism). Which is all about presenting an original content without stealing some else ideas or content.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

I will say this is the act of presenting an authors work, content, and ideas as your own, without giving credit to be the rightful owner.

Plagiarism is the act of copying and pasting an author's content or work, claiming to be the rightful owner of the stolen content.

Plagiarism is furtherly divided into several types viz;

• Direct Plagiarism; This is the act of copying and pasting the authors work, content, or ideas exactly the way the writer (author) has presented it.

• Mosaic Plagiarism; This is the act of of copying different author's ideas, content or work to form your content without giving them credit.

• Hybrid Plagiarism: it is the act of copying a cited document or content (One that has a link to the original content) posting it as a fresh post without giving credit to the author.

• Accidental Plagiarism: This is the act of posting a content that has already been posted without your noticed.

CAUSES OF PLAGIARISM

• When you are not creative.
• Some people don't really know how to speak fluently, and because of that they tend to repost others content.
• Easy access to the Internet
• When you don't study the rules of steemit.

PENALTIES FOR POSTED A COPIED CONTENT

• Your reputation will be reduced
• Your post will be flagged
• Your post will be downvoted.

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM

• Be Creative
• Always Cite the source of your borrowed content or pictures. E.g
