Greetings Steemians,greetings to the admins. Today I'll be writing about the basic security on steemit.

STEEMIT KEYS?
Steemit keys are keys on steemit that allows a person carry out various actions on steemit. The steemit keys are downloaded when creating an account. The keys are personal and should not be exposed because your account could get hacked
TYPES OF KEYS AND THEIR USES
•POSTING KEY: It is a key that grants user permission to post,comment/reply on a post,edit post,upvote and mute account.
•ACTIVE KEY:This key allows a person access or login to his/her wallet.It's uses includes tranferring funds,powering steem up/down,placing market order and voting for witnesses.
•OWNER KEYS: This key can be used to change other keys and to recover/retrieve a hacked or compromised account.
•MASTER PASSWORD: The master password otherwise known as master key is generetad when creating a steemit account.The master key is the key that creates other keys.
•MEMO KEY:This one is used to encrypt and decrypt memos during fund transfer.
HOW TO TRANFER STEEM BETWEEN ACCOUNTS
√The person transfering has to login wallet using apprioprate.

√Then he/she should tap on the arrow icon beside steem balance.
√A list of options pops up,he/she should select transfer.

√A page where he/she is to fill in the demanded details appears.

√When he/she is done with filling details tap next.
√A box with status of transfer pops up a few seconds after.
HOW TO POWER UP STEEM
*Login wallet
*Tap on arrow icon beside steem balance

*Select power up from the list of options
*A page he/she is to fill in required details appears

*Tap power up when the detail is completely filled in.
Seconds after a message with note, your steem power has been increased pops up.
