According to Oxford Etiquette is the formal rules of correct or polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession.

Now how can you apply etiquette in steemit?
One ways to apply etiqquette is to avoid PLAGIARISM.

What is plagiarism?

According to oxford, Plagiarism means copying another persons idea, work or works and pretend as if there are you own.

According to Google PLAGIARISM is presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgment.

Examples of Plagiarism are:

  • copying someone else's work as your idea be it image, video, audio etc.

  • copying someone else's work without citing your source.

Copying multiple work piecing them and changing to yours.

Types of plagiarism.

Direct Plagiarism;

Self Plagiarism;

Mosaic Plagiarism;

Accidental plagiarism

Complete plagiarism;

Paraphrasing plagiarism;

Auto/self-plagiarism;

Plagiarism doesn’t just involve content but any work been copied without giving the source, be it music, videos, photos, and so on.

How To Stay Away From Plagiarism:

Sudy and understand the topic put it down re-read before posting.

When applying a photo make sure you put the source or link.

Do not forget to refer the owner.
