CONTENT ETIQUETTE
Etiquette is a term that can be defined as
a set of customs and rules for polite behaviour in society or among members of a particular profession or group.
It refers to behaving in a socially responsible way and also the guidelines which controls the way a responsible individual should behave in the society.
RULES OF ETIQUETTE
Below are some of the rules of etiquette:
(1)proper greeting also say "thank you" when appropriate.
(2)Be yourself and allow others to treat you with respect.
(3)Give genuine compliments.
(4)Don't be boastful,arrogant or loud.
(5)listen before speaking.
(6)Speak with kindness and caution.
(7)Do not criticize or complain.
(8)Be honest and punctual.
IMPORTANCE OF ETIQUETTE :(1)Etiquette helps us to be thoughtful about our conduct,it helps us to be aware of the feelings and rights of others.(2)It also helps us to get along with others,it promotes respect even to people of other cultures,etiquette is culturally bound.
