About Me

My name is Godwin Okponung. I am 29 years old. I'm a Nigerian my tribe is Oro and I'm currently living in Nigeria, in the South-South region. I am currently studying Guidance and Counselling in the University of Uyo, Nigeria. Sadly the lecturers are on strike and the university is totally shut down, so it is delay my graduation. But just hoping the whole standoff between the striking lecturers and the government be resolved soon so students can move on with their academics.

My Experience With Crypto

I have been introduced newly to cryptocurrency. And I can say that Steem would be the very first I would ever earn since I am here now. So I am a total newbie when it comes to crypto. I hope in time I will get learn more about them.

My Hobby, Passion, and Dislikes

I enjoy Studying and teaching during my spare time. I do not like being idle or indolent. I prefer being active and hardworking, and I like people who are serious minded too.

My Interest

I love to learn about different Lifestyles, cultures, creative arts and crafts, creative writing and cryptocurrency. So I'll be living forward to reading posts of others on these topics and I would also like to make posts in these areas too.

My Steemit Journey

I was introduced to steemit by my friend @nsisong99 We met during this strike and I was literally lamenting how the strike by university teachers (ASUU Strike) has created boredom and how difficult it is to cope. So he told me I could engage my time and energy meaningfully here in steemit. So without hesitation, I accepted to give it a try. So I registered.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would say that I am happy to be here. And very curious too about how my journey will go. But I look forward to the support of everyone here in the steemit blog and I believe that with your help I can make the most of my time here.
