INTRODUCTION

From my extensive study on content etiquette from @cryptokannon and @thecryptofiend, I believe i can throw a little light on the subject of plagiarism.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM ?

"Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Under the regulations for examinations, intentional or reckless plagiarism is a disciplinary offence ." ^Source

"Posting plagiarized or copied content can get you into legal trouble for violating copyright laws. Plagiarized posts and spam are seen as abuse and will be down voted by community members. If you are posting or using someone else's content,you must ensure that you have the rights to use the content,and properly reference the sources where you got the material from".

Applying citation methods would help you avoid plagiarism and spam. If you're unable to apply these methods,it's best to stick with contents that proceeds out of your very own creativity and leave external materials alone.
