Hello everyone again! Hope you are all fine and living a blessing life. Today we'll talk about incentive security. As you all know, immediately after registering on the incentive, you are given the keys. Actually, I got them too. There are 6 keys in total. First, I got the first master key, which gives me the ability to get all the other five keys.
Security:
Security means safety. The steps that we have to take for our safety are called security. Beneficiaries of security may be of persons and social groups, objects and institutions, ecosystems, or any other entity or phenomenon vulnerable to unwanted change. Here I share information about steemit security that I have learned.
Posting Key:
This key is the lowest level. It is mainly used to perform social activities. How to publish a blog, comment, vote up and down for any post.
Active key:
This is a mid-level key. This key is used to transfer the wallet. For example, this key is used to transfer a steem to someone, buy or sell.
You should only enter your Active Key into applications that you trust because anyone with access to that key can get your tokens. Do yourself a favor and store this key securely so you don't lose your tokens in the future.
This is the most important key. This key is used to dump your message and active key. And a master password. And you can also restore your account at any time. So this key must be protected offline.
Owner key:
This is the most important key. With this key, you can change all your other keys and the owner key too, and you can also restore your account at any time. So this key must be protected offline, for example in a notepad, I do not recommend storing your keys on your phone, because they can very easily be stolen and taken over your account.
Master Key:
And finally, the master key which is the only thing the Memo Key can do is encrypt and decrypt private messages that are sent through the blockchain. While this could one day be a powerful feature, today it is not commonly used. From its name, one can tell it’s a key which more superior to the other keys. With this Key, a user is able to derive all the other keys such as the keys already mentioned above.
