Achievement 2@felichi Task: Basic security on steem

This post is to fulfil my achievement 2 task as directed by @cryptokannon together with other steem greeters @kiwiscanfly, as it is a prerequisite in the completion of other achievement.
Writing this simply means I have come in terms with the basic knowledge of how to use and protect my keys on steem.
Basically, after creating an account on steem, users have their keys which they must safe guard at all cost.

Here are the keys:

• Private posting keys: posting keys are used for;
Posting articles, commenting on a post, editing, voting, following and muting other accounts. It also serves to
restrict damage a compromised account could cause.

• Active key: this key is very important because of its sensitivity. It is used for everything fund transaction-converting
steem dollars, updating profile details and so on.

• Owner key: this is another important key that can only be used when necessary. This key should be stored online as
it can be used to change key of other accounts.

• Memo keys: it is used to encrypt and decrypt memos when funds are being transferred.

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Answer
Yes, I have retrieved all my keys on steemit. After I created my account, there was a link that required that I download a file which contains my keys.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Answer
Yes, I have stated above what each key is used for and how to handle it.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer
I will save it in my mail and also write it down in my diary.

Question
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer
Yes, all I have to do is click on transfer button, insert the receiver’s username, attach my private active keys and click on send.

With screenshot this is how I transferred my steem token to another steem user account

I logged in to my steem wallet

I then clicked on the arrow to bring out a list of options

Then clicked on transfer

I put the username of the receiving steem. Put in steem as the memo and clicked on next

I confirmed the transfer by clicking on OK

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Answer
If I click on power up, it will be converted to steem power.

I then clicked on power up

I put in the balance then powered up
