The issue of plagiarism Is one of the major issue in our society as a whole , because people today do not put any effort or what so ever in doing things with their own ideas rather they choose to prefer copyright.that is why the steemit platform is making sure it warns against it,because steemit is a platform that rewards it's members based on the content they post. So that is why "plagiarism"is an unacceptable action in the steemit community as a whole What is a Plagiarism

Plagiarism is a practice or can also be referred to a infringement or the taking or copying of someone's else work or ideas and passing them out as your own.this can also be called copyright. Plagiarism is one of the social vices in our society today in the sense that it has caused a lot of youths to feel reluctant and unwilling to do anything on their own.

How can plagiarism be avoided
Each and everyone of us should commit oneself in doing it creating their own ideas or work.and we do not understand somethings at times we do well to ask others who are higher than us and have more intellectual capabilities.

Each and everyone of us must try our best to understand paraphrasing.
We all should endeavor to Cite our source scrupulously.

This one involves copying someones ideas or passage exactly without citation.

This one deals with or involves one combining ideas,text and thoughts from multiple sources without citation.

What are the consequences of Plagiarism

This is a big crime in the sense that,the one involved in it is not just copying but manipulating another's person ideas or thoughts without giving credit to that person and without citation.

In term of academic section the consequence for plagiarism can go as far as permanent or temporary suspension for an academic student

A site that engage in any form of plagiarism may loose loose it license or pay a huge fine.

I have now come to awareness that plagiarism or any sort of copyright is not acceptable in the steemit community or in the society in general.so I am now encouraged and ready to make sure I try as much as possible that my contents are not portraying any sort of plagiarism.
