Hey guys...This post is regarding basic security on steemit. This post might be useful to upcoming steemit users. So enjoy!

Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Yes I have. I saved them to a doc file, then saving it to the cloud. I also saved them into my Gmail account.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Yes I know their functions and restrictions
First is….
POSTING KEY: This key is the enablement of one using a steemit account to comment, post , edit or vote, resteem, follow/unfollow and even mute other accounts. It’s restrictions is that it is most likely to be compromised so a limited posting key exists to restrict the damage.

Secondly we have the….

ACTIVE KEY: This key mainly used for economic purposes on steemit. Which is quite sensitive because it’s used for tasks such as transferring funds, placing a market order, power up/down transactions and even converting steemit dollars!

Thirdly we have the….

OWNER KEY: it is said to be the most powerful key. In the sense that it can change any key in any account, including the owner key itself. So it should be used carefully and stored offline.

Fourthly we have the….

MEMO KEY: it’s used for decrypting and encrypting memos when transferring funds.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

It’s being saved in a draft on my phone, this draft is backed up by my email too.

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Yes!
Firstly you tap on your steemit profile…”your avatar pic or profile”
Then you click on wallet

Then click on my steem balance then list would come out(Transfer, Transfer to savings,Powerup,Trade, Market)
Then I would click on transfer
I would then fill the required space and click on next.

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Yes!
Tap on your profile like earlier said in question 4
Then go to your wallet
click on steem balance
Then you click on power up and fill the required space.
