What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism means we use another person's data for our personal use and give it our personal name this is called plagiarism. In this we copy data from different places. Plagiarism is a big theft. We are stealing someone's data. This means that we use someone's data without their permission.

Types of Plagiarism

There are different types of plagiarism that are used. We will describe three types of plagiarism.

Self Plagiarism

Self-plagiarism is a form in which we collect data from other website and express it in our words, that is, steal its word. We already have some data. We also do older words and paste them into new data. This is how we describe someone's data in our own words. This is called self-plagiarism.

Complete Plagiarism(copy & paste)

Complete plagiarism is a type of plagiarism in which we copy all data from other site and paste in our site without its author permission. Copy all data from another person's account to your account it is also called copy and paste data. Therefore, when using someone's data, it is important to mention its original author.

Mosaic and Global Plagiarism

Mosaic and Global plagiarism is a type of Plagiarism. This type of plagiarism is performed by a student during his studies. He uses someone else's data for his assignment and writes it down in his own data and also shares it with the people. So this is called mosaic and global type of plagiarism. It is also called a modern type of plagiarism.

Avoid Plagiarism

The question is, how can we avoid plagiarism? Therefore, whenever we use data, it is important to state its original author and quotes should be used. Or if we are using someone else's data then the source must be state. That way we can avoid plagiarism. For example we use a quote

Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can't lose.

Bill Gates
This is an example of quotes.

Conclusion

"I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them" at the end of this task post.source
