Achievement 5 Task 4 by @eosxiomara: Review steemdb.io

Hello steemians. I'm glad to be here again to complete the last task of my 5th achievement.
This achievement post is about another steemit tool, steemdb.io. From the post of @cryptokannon, I learned that the steemdb is the most reliable blockchain browser maintained by #steemit.

What is SteemDb?

From the post of the already mentioned user, it was learnt that steemdb is a block explorer and a database for steemit users or the steem blockchain. Before you can navigate the site, you have to visit the steemdb site which will first take you to the home page, obviously.
From the home page, it can be seen that, there is a chart of Steem/Bitcoin showing their prices on the markets. The image can be seen below.

There are also some interesting features which will be talked about.

Features on Steemit

• 30-day MVest Distibution

From the brief explanation beneath the 30-day MVest Distribution, we can say it exhibits the distribution of stake by the blockchain through various channels over 30days.
It also specifies the amount percentage distribution to authors, curation, witnesses and interests as well. Since the values are in MVs(Mega Vests), when you place the cursor on any of the values you wish to know about, it brings out the exact value on them.

• Recent Blockchain Activity

The next feature after the previous one we talked about is the Recent Blockchain Activity. This feature helps you to access all the various tasks and activities within the blockchain. It refreshes every time to update the user on every single ongoing activity (i.e, votes, comments, etc.)

• Accounts

The accounts section shows the tabulated form of the user accounts on the blockchain. It can filtered according to the richlist, post, social and reputation.
When using a PC the account feature can be found on top of the homepage but since my screenshot is froma phone, it wasn't found at the top but at the left side of the page.

The "richlist" when tapped on shows a menu consisting of the vest, sbd, steem and power down which enables the user to filter to preference.

• Witnesses

The witnesses obviously shows the various witnesses on the blockchain and it is arranged in order of votes.
It also has all the important history information associated with the witnesses

• labs

Just as the name suggests, it is kind of a lab for experiments before it comes out. It explains beside it that it is a feature for experimental projects and testing grounds for various concepts. The experimental projects are shown there.

Summary of the importance of Steemdb

• It aids users in finding accounts easily by searching the account names in search toolbar at the top of the page.
• It provides details of accounts with high reputations, steem, posts, etc.
• It provides a chart of witnesses and their history for easy identification.
• Provides a lab of experimental projects or activities which will be unleashed in the future.
• The immediate home page provides a live chart of the prices of Steem and BTC.
