Achievement 5 Task 2 by @emma55: Reviewing of Steemscan.com

Hello everyone welcome to my article which is achievement 5 task 2 and it is about steemscan.com which is a tool in steemit, the last achievement 5 post was the task 1 article which was about steemworld.com any without waisting your time ler's begin.

This Articlr question and answers begins now.

1). Please discuss the current steem price and volume on the date of submission of this article review?

The screen short image above display that the current price of steem is at $0.58 while the volume as of the time that this screenshort was taken is at 57,770,919.

You can easily look for the price of steem and volume daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly on steemscan.com platform.

2). Please explain what all information is shown under the latest transaction and latest block section?

To get to the latest transaction area and latest block area all you need to do is open steemscan in your search engine.

• Latest Transaction: This area shows all the latest transaction that is going on in the steemit platform like votes, comments, type of transaction, ID of the user and many more.

• Latest Blocks: This area in the steemscan display things like the details of an ID, height, time, mined by witnesses and block transcations.

3). Please explain all information is under witness section and steps vote a witness?

This witness area in the steemscan.com platform shows many data like the user that are very active, mined steem rewards, total block, last block volume, transaction count and current witnesses.

This is how to vote for a witness in steemit.

• Go into steemscan then Click menu which is located at the top left hand in the platform then in the drop down menu click witnesses.

• Next step is to click on any user and vote but remember you have to own a steemit account in order to complete this objective

The below image displays the current witnesses, last block height and again it also displays the list of witnesses in the steemit platform.

4). explain what are DApps and mention three example of DApps that you have already used or may use in the future as per your interest?

Dapps are programs that function with distribution ledger technology like the steemit blockchain and the other thing is that Dapps are decentralized which means the don't operate with control from a central source.

There are many of Dapps that runs on the steemit blockchain

This are the names of three of this Dapps that are on steemit and they are:

• Steemit User: which operate and compete as social media platform like facebook, twitter and instagram.
• Hash kings: This game is an RPG type game that can be played on your internet browser because it doesn't have an app yet
• Epic Dice: this game is a gambling type game

I have not use them but i plan to do so in the future maybe after all the achievement posts.

5). Please explain how to use Quick Convert and what is the fee charged for different steem amount for withdrawal?

Quick Convert is a tool that is used when a user want to convert he or her crypto quick but you will be charged a transaction feel which depends on the number of steem you are trying to convert, for example if you are converting 30 steem to a stable coin known as usdt then you will be getting 6 usdt and you will be charged 1 usdt as you can see in this image displayed below.

6). what information is provided by the search feature?

This section in the steemscan plarform provides features that will help the steemit user and those features are transactions, witness,etc.
Filtering is also available to make searching in steemscan easier and faster.
