INTRODUCTION

Hi guys ,welcome to my achievement 5 task 2 post based on the review of steemscan.com.

Please explain the current Steem price and volumes on date of submission of this review?

When you go into the site steemscan.com, the first thing you'll see on the homepage is the latest prices and volume. It will show the chart of both current price and value of steem.

At the time of this post ,the current price of 1 steem is $0.24 and the current volume is $60,570.00.

Please explain What all information is shown under latest transactions and latest blocks section?

Under the latest transactions tab, you can see a summary of the activities done by steem users e.g commenting , votes and even trading etc. It shows the block id, transaction id, the time of the transaction, the sender , the receiver, the type of transaction and the payload of the transaction.

The latest block tab shows the block id , the block height, the time frame and the number of transactions done by the block.

Please explain What all information is shown under Witnesses section and steps to vote a Witness?

To get to the witness tab, you'll first click on menu and find witnesses .

After clicking that,you'll see a list of witnesses and information about them. For example you'll see their rank ,status etc.

To vote a witness is very easy.At the extreme right you'll see the vote option. Tap the vote option of the witness of your choice and then you'll be directed to log in to vote.

Please explain What is DApps and mention 3 DApps which you have already used or may use in future as per your interest?

Dapp stands for decentralized application. They are open source applications that run on peer to peer network. Examples include;

• Steemit; you earn steem by blogging and posting.
• Augur; used for market prediction.
• Golem; used got buying and selling computing power.

Please explain How to use "Quick Convert" and what is the fee charged for different Steem amount for withdrawal?

Go to the menu tab and click quick convert.Here we can easily convert steem to other cryptocurrencies like BTC, USDT and TRON.

To convert here is really easy, you'll simply input the amount of steem, you'll see the amount of assets you'll get back and the fees. Just input your withdrawal address and confirm.

100 steem for 402.9756 trx gas a service charge of 4.1222 trx

100 steem for 0.00034144 btc with a charge of 0.00050672 btc

100 steem for 17.92152488 USDT with service charge of 1.04000306 USDT

Please explain what information is provided by the "Search" feature?

In the search feature, you can search using the transaction, block or account. You can easily switch between the three.

Transaction;

If you're searching using transaction, you'll input the transaction id and search. You'll get all the information related to that transaction.

Block:

Here you'll simply input the block id and search.

Account;

In this option ,you'll be required to input the username of the account and you'll get information about the account .

CONCLUSION;

Reviewing Steemscan.com was a great experience for me and I learnt a few more things about the steem blockchain.
