What is Plagiarism ?

Plagiarism is copying another's work like articles, pictures, ideas etc without his or her permission. Basically, in other words we can say it is stealing other person work.

Plagiarism can also be termed to be the act of taking the words and ideas of other people and saying they are your own without citing the source of the material.

Types of Plagiarisms
There are many kinds of plagiarism but I will focus on a few of them as the applies to what we do here.

Direct Plagiarism:
It is the type of Plagiarism in which a person copy the work of another person by word to word and no changing in words, quotations etc as it is copied. This is often applied in speech giving.

Self Plagiarism:
It is the type of Plagiarism in which you can copy your own work. For example; it often applies to submitting same piece of work in the form of assignments, projects and contest etc in different classes or communities in the case of STEEMit without previous permission from both authorities.

Mosaic Plagiarism:

It is the type of Plagiarism in which you can copy other works and after copying you can change some quotations, some sentences, etc and your work is looking like unique.

This is the worst kind I think because of the pride that resides in our hearts at the time of making or creating the content.

Accidental Plagiarism:
It is the type of Plagiarism in which you are not copied other person work but accidentally your idea and some other person idea as same.

How To Avoid Plagiarism:
• Don't copy another person work

• Use your own ideas. The best way to produce an impactful content is to be as original as possible as you can. Trust your delivery.

• Don't copy from any resources like internet etc.

• Be careful to use Plagiarism checker website which is developed by a German University.
