Hello everyone
Is there someone who does not want his work to spread? Absolutely No. Please find below my article on the achievement task 3: content etiquette (plagiarism). One of the greatest crime on steemit community platforms

Introduction

In every group, organization,or platform there are rules or guidelines that governs the particular society. It is not different from the field or section. In this field content etiquettes is the name of the rules or guidelines.
Is there someone who doesn't want his or her work to spread? Absolutely No. It is everywriter or workers dream for his or her work to spread or to be shared. But as a worker or reader who is trying to share someones work, we need to be responsible for our actions so that we will not take credits from the work of others or don't give credit them properly. This article tells us what we must do and not to do to avoid taking credit for those that it due.

what is content etiquette

The customary code of polite behaviour in society or among members of a particular profession or group is called etiquette.source

According to the definition above content etiquette could be define as the rules or guidelines that governs a particular content and ensures that everyone assessing that content must fellow.

Below are some of the content etiquette on steemit

Don't post nudity or graphic imagery unless you tag it with NSFW
Don't be a fake, plagiarise or pass off others' work as your own
Don't bribe people for votes, re-steems, follows or ask directly for money source

Below are some of the content etiquette in general
Credit must be given the author or his me must be written or use in reference. It is very important.
Online source must be cited.
Also for example using image, the source must be cited.
Quotation sign must be use when coating someone on steemit greater than sign with a space bar is use.
You can't post someone's content and claiming as it your.
You can't copy someone's work word by word and not giving credit to the authors and claiming as it yours by changing the title.source

Now that we have looked at what content etiquette is let then take a look at plagiarism.

What is plagiarism

Plagiarism means using the words or ideas of another person as if they were your own, and without giving proper credit to the sources you have used.source

There are different forms or types of plagiarism. They include the following; Accidental Plagiarism, Mosaic Plagiarism, Self plagiarism,
Direct plagiarism, Collaboration Plagiarism, Hired plagiarism, Contributing Author Plagiarism, Aggregated Plagiarism, Outline Plagiarism and others. Few are explained below

  • Accidental Plagiarism
    This form of plagiarism results when a person neglect or forget to cite their source, when he or she misquotes their source or unintentionally paraphrases a source by using similar words, groups of words, and sentence structure without attribution. Cases of accidental plagiarism are taken as seriously as any other plagiarism and are subject to the same range of consequences . .source

  • Self Plagiarism
    It involve reusing your own work from from the past and passing it off as new work is also a type of plagiarism. This includes using all or part of a high school essay for a college assignment. It’s also self plagiarism to use the same essay or paper to fulfill two different assignments for two different courses.source

  • Direct plagiarism
    This form of Plagiarism is sometimes called clone Plagiarism because is "word-for- word" copying of someone work and claiming it is your own original work. This is what many people associate with plagiarism, and it is easy to detect.source

conclusion

It is clear that when the etiquette are being followed, then there will be no need to complain about Plagiarism because it will no more be there. Hence let fellow the content etiquette to avoid Plagiarism this will give credit to who credit is due. Citing sources, Note-taking, Quoting and Paraphrasing are the key areas to tackle Plagiarism.
