First time i heard of a woman who was engaged to a lifer I thought she must be out of her mind. Then i contacted someone i'd seen in a documentary about Restorative Justice and forgiveness. You guessed it: A lifer. In the US. And i, being a Dutchie, fell in love with him. For more than a year now, we are manifesting a high risk, interracial love story, a relationship with a purpose.
