PHYSICS NOT DIFFICULT

Physics is simply the studies of How and why things happen. Things you see everyday and you ignore are things that physics see and ask why? or how? That is simply physics!!

From secondary school the notion that Physics is difficult was embedded in us by our seniors and even some of our teachers too. But am going to rather be showing you the contrary.

FIVE PRACTICAL CONCEPTS IN PHYSICS WE EXPERIENCE EVERY DAY

NEWTONS LAWS THIRD LAW OF MOTION

It is a very simple but yet profound law which spans nearly every thing we do as humans.

It simply states that

To every action force there is an equal but opposite reaction force.

Well Even Jesus himself said

Do unto to others(action) what you want them to do onto you (reaction).

Well it is funny but it true that Jesus stated it Newton's before! probably in His own way. So this law had been practiced and used even before the Newton discovered it.

PRESSURE

It is the force acting per unit area on a surface.

*Why is it that fat people cant stand for long? Why is it that rezo blades is more effective in cleaning your nails than knives?* Well It is very simple!! Am sure you should have figured it out already. Yes! exactly!!!Because the blade is sharper than the knife. But well why is that? Now this where a little Physics comes in. You see because of the small surface area of the blade on application of the same force as on the knife has a pressure due to it small surface area. Therefore a blade cuts through better than a knife.

DOPPLER'S EFFECT

*Why is it that when a bike playing music passes you, you here a different pitch to prior to when it was in front you??* Am sure you have surely come across this effect. Well it was clear explained by a scientist name Doppler! this Effect has a simple explanation. As the object moves away from your the stationary observer the frequency of the sound wave from it decrease and as it moves closer the frequency of the sound wave increase. Simple right?!!

ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES

Let me help you understand so that you will be more confident and comfortable in using this things. Firstly we need to understand that the world we are living has alot of thinks which are unseen but yet physical and they affect the human world. There was this scientist called *Nikola Tesla*. Well he observed an effect which use to occur electric poles during moist atmospheres where sparks of light jump from one cable to the next without any connection between the cables it baffled him.

So he started to work on it and he discovered that every electric device or circuit emits some form waves around it which could be converted to energy and many other things. This waves where later termed Electromagnetic waves. And have been harnessed such that we can convert voices and images and transmit it in the form of waves over long distances via Antennas and Satellites. You get it now right?!

THE LAW OF GRAVITY

Everything that goes up must come down.
Any normal African has used this statement at least 10times in his lifetime🤣🤣. It is so common. But have you ever asked why?🤔

That is were physics comes in. The law of gravity simply state that larger bodies attract smaller bodies. well this is just a lay man's definition but it quiet works well. Since the earth is a big mass and we are small masses standing on it anytime something tries to escape the gravitational force pulls it back to its self. In fact this law holds many bodies in the universe together. Starting from our solar system since the sun is so many times larger than our planets and given that our planets are at a considerable distance to it so it just holds them in place without pulling them. I hope you understand now.
