THE STORY OF EJIRU

I will like to tell you about the story of young beautiful girl that hail from Ekaki village in one small Africa country her name was Ejiru.

Born into the five of six and happen to be the last born being also the era of farming. During that time woman are more consider to be a good house wife property and a helping mate in the farm work.

As a young lady Ejiru had a strong passion to lead and become a great person in life not just a mere house wife. This kind of passion sound odd in that time as many people wonder what the future hold for a girl that have chosen this pathway.

Criticism began to flow in as many people could not withstand such passion and determination from a girl.

Just like Thomas A. Edison said in one of his statement

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
— Thomas A. Edison source

In the face of many challenges and criticism Ejiru made up her mind that she will not give up on her dream. So she continues to try her best and she was determine to go to school and become a lawyer although education was not common at that time. After talking at length with her father and with the influence of her mom she enrolled into a primary and secondary school in the neighboring village. As time roll by she finished her secondary school and with the help of her uncle, she was able to make it to university level and eventually become the first female lawyer in her village.

The table below show us some of the lessons we can extract from Ejiru story

Successful peopleLess Successful
They have determination.They lack determination.
They have their own vision. They lack vision.
They are not afraid to be odd. They want to be accepted by everybody.

I will like to round up my post by saying that you can achieve that dream of yours. All you need is to believe in yourself and work hard toward it.
