Markdown is a markup language for text documents that allows you to add formatting features. Blogging, instant messaging, online forums, collaborative software, and instructional sites all utilize Markdown. There are tools that can be used as editors as well. You should understand how to use it since it draws the reader's attention to your work. You can use the markdowns listed below to make your work more attractive to the reader.

HEADLINES

Add a number sign (#) in front of a word or phrase to make a header. The size of the headline is inversely proportional to the amount of number signs you employ. The size of the headline should decrease as the number of number signs rises, and it should correspond to the heading level. Use five number signs, for example, to make a heading level five. It is proven as follows:

CREATING TABLES

Use hyphens to create a table. To construct each column's header, use three or more hyphens, and pipes (|) to divide each column. You should also put a pipe on each end of the row for compatibility. To align the text left, right, or center, you can use colon(s) on the left, right, or both sides. This is done as follows:

MAKING A BOLD TEXT AND ITALICS

Italics accentuates a word, but bold text enhances it. Before and after the phrase, two asterisks** are used without space to create bold lettering. Italics are distinguished by the presence of a single asterisk * before and after the text.
