Achievement 3 task done by @divinemercy: Content etiquette

in Newcomers' Community3 years ago

Hello there, everyone. Ibilola Mathew is my name. I just joined the steemit community and have learned a lot about the platform as well as the basics of steemit security. I'm now working on my third achievement task. Which brings us to the subject of plagiarism.

Plagiarism is defined as taking someone else's ideas or words and passing them off as one's own without attributing the source.
Plagiarism and piracy are two terms that are often used interchangeably. It is the intentional use of another person's ideas, photographs, articles, songs, models, or any other type of work without the author's permission.

Plagiarism forms.
1. Hired plagiarism
This entails paying for someone else's writing, ideas, strategy, research, and thought. This is also plagiarism since you are paying someone else for a piece of writing that you will use as your own. It entails purchasing supplies. It may entail hiring a business consultant to assist with strategy or to draft a company plan for you.

2. Collaboration plagiarism
This is a kind of plagiarism in which a group of individuals collaborate on a piece of work, but it appears as if it was done by a single person. A group of students may decide to conduct research for an assignment, and then each student writes it to the best of his or her ability. It necessitates collaboration.

3. Paraphrasing plagiarism
Plagiarism in which the copier cites the original copy or alters another's work without crediting the creator is known as paraphrasing plagiarism. This entails duplicating someone else's work without revealing the original source.

4. Global plagiarism
Plagiarism in the broad sense refers to the act of duplicating someone else's work and passing it off as your own. This entails taking someone else's concept or knowledge even before they are established.

PLAGIARISM'S IMPACT
• It can result in a lack of reasoning because the plagiarizer will also use other people's posts;
• It can result in a waste of time because your post won't be rated or verified to score you, so your post will be useless.

I have read and understood the steemit etiquette on steemit community and I will my best to embrace them.
Thank you @cryptokannon
