Achievement 2 task, basic security on STEEM by @divia , mentored by @cryptokannon

It has been great learning through the second achievement task as a newcomer, It is amazing to know the full proof security system here described in the achievement 2 task by @kiwiscanfly, so that the users are safe from any kind of threat. And now i will proceed to writting on the basic securities on steem as i have learnt.

I will now share with you about the keys and its uses in the different areas they are needed and that will take me to answering the questions listed by the mentor @cryptokannon ;

Q1 . Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit ?:

Yes , just after creating the account, i have retrieved all my keys.

Q2 : Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes i do , there are different keys issued and each has different permissions or functions , Below are their details :

POSTING KEY : This Particular key
is used for social networking actions, like posting, commenting and
voting. This key has a limited set of
permissions and it is not able to be used for monetary actions but must be kept safe.

its permissions are ;

Posting Key is permitted to do the
Following :

• Mute accounts
• Publish a post or comment
• Edit a post or comment
• Upvote or downvote
• Resteem content
• Follow people
• Active Key

This key has additional permissions for more sensitive monetary-related actions, like transferring and exchanging tokens.

Active Key is used to:

• Place an order on an exchange
• Certain profile changes
• Transfer tokens
• Power STEEM up or down
• SBD conversion
• Vote for witnesses

Owner Key:

The owner key is required to change the other keys. This key has additional permissions to recover your account or change your other keys. It's the most important key and should be securely saved offline.

Permissions:

Owner Key is used to:

• Reset Active, and Posting keys
• Recover your account
• Decline voting rights

Memo Key

The Memo Key is only used to encrypt and decrypt private messages that are sent through the blockchain and its not commonly used .

Permissions :
Use your Memo Key to:

• Send an encrypted message
• View an encrypted message

Q3 : How I plan to keèp my master password:

I had to save it MS Doc file in my email where it can be retrieved anytime even when my phone gets lost.

Q4 : Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes I do , this action can be done using the active key, and with the help of the tutorial held by @kiwiscanfly on understanding your steemit wallet i
have been grately helped ,

Q5 : Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes i do, i have recieved so much knowledge that steem is in a liquid form and can be powered up to continue building a steem power ; the lesson has really been helpful.
