in Newcomers' Community3 years ago
Hello great steemians, I very happy to embark on this achievement post thanks to the fact that my achievement 4 was verified without delay. Special thanks to @fombae who pioneered the verification. At this juncture, I will be sharing with you my achievement 5 and it will be done on various task. On this first task, I will be exploring the steemworld site that offers valuable information about our steemit accounts.

INTRODUCTION

We shall be looking at things like rewards, curation, mentions delegations etc which are regular terms used in steemit and some people may not understand what they mean and how they work. It is worth noting that steemit is based on the blockchain technology and steemworld.org is like a ledger in that blockchain. To access the site, we just go our browser and type steemworld.org and it will immediately take you to the dash board of the site

At this point, let me now explore the site to reveal the various features it offers.
How do we check reward summary?
In order to do anything on this site, we need to first of all sign in with our username and private posting keys in order to open our ledger as seen in the picture below

After signing in, we tap on reward info and on the page that opens, fill in the boxes with the necessary information and enter as demonstrated below

After feeling the above information, take search and rewards will be presented to you as seen from this example

What is delegation, how many types of delegation and how do you delegate?
Simply put, delegation is when a steemian lends his/her steem power to another or to a community. This SP can be given back later when the borrower has enough SP. We delegate to help another person or a community have more influence in the steemit blockchain.
There are actually few types of delegation. We can delegate to a community to help the community grow, we can delegate to another steemian so that they don't waste their voting power and we can also delegate to support auto upvote bots to help upvote content creators.
In order to check delegation history, sign into steemworld.org as seen above and choose an icon labelled delation, click on it fill the spaces and take search and the delegation history will be revealed

How to check incoming and outgoing votes
We may need to track our votes and this is possible with steemworld.org. we go to the dash board and scroll down to the point where we have statistics about our votes, count etc. There, we will see all the votes received and the votes given.

Explain author, curation and beneficiary rewards.
Rewards in steemit are given in three ways; steem, steem power and SBD. Author rewards are the earnings of a content creator base on the upvotes he has. Curation rewards are part of the earnings from a post given to those who upvotesd the post. Let us take a look at the details below to understand better

Screenshot_20211130-190221_1.png
As seen above, we just to to scroll down on the dashboard of the steemworld.org site and see the various rewards.
How to check your upvote value at different voting weights
This shows the amount an account will get when you upvote them. It varies depending on your steem power. To get to this, we just scroll down on the dashboard of steemworld.com untill we meet this information. It's easy to find.

Screenshot_20211130-191110_1.png
As seen above, my voting power is set at 100% and the value is 0.0 because why SP is still very low... In bigger a counts, the voting weights can actually be customised.

CONCLUSION

Finally, I must confess that this post has made me learn a lot of things I didn't know about steemit especially while exploring steemworld.org. there is so much information that is needed to follow up your account.
Just to add that this is just a human endeavor and cannot be void of mistakes, I stand to take logical corrections.
Thanks for reading
Follow up for more interesting write-ups
