Now let's talk about those 5 keys that are keeping our accounts secure and keeping us safe. Let's jump into the conversation about "The Basic Steem Security."

Question 1:

Have you read retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Answer:

Yes, I have retrieved all my keys on Steemit, and I have also saved them on a pen drive. Additionally, I took pictures of them as well.

Question 2:

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Answer:

Yes, I'm familiar with the functions and restrictions associated with each key on Steemit.

There are 5 keys in steemit:

Posting key:
The posting key allows the user to gain access to posting content, making comments, and upvoting posts. It's the least powerful key and it is typically used for daily activities on the platform.

Active key:
This key is powerful and allow the user to perform actions such as transferring funds, powering up or down, voting for witnesses, updating your profile information, and converting STEEM to Steem Power as well. It is important to keep this key secure as it provide access to important things.

Owner key:
The owner key is the most powerful key among all of those keys and allow the user to have full control over your Steemit account. With the owner key, we can change other keys, recover your account in case of some thing. It's highly recommended to keep the owner key secure, I made several copies of all my keys, saved them on my pen drive, and also wrote them down offline and took pictures of these all keys and saved and secured them.

memo key:
The memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos in transactions. It's recommended to keep all keys safe; none of them are unnecessary. You have to secure all of these keys like I did.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer:

Keeping your master key safe is very important, this key allow the user to have all the permissions. "Master key" typically refers to the Owner Key. This key provides the highest level of access and control over the Steemit account, So it is very important to save this one key offline and offline too, I have saved all those keys including this one, in a PDF format.

Question 4:

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer:

Yes, we have to open our wallet first, which is located on the right side of our profile.

after clicking on the wallet you have to click here:

After that you have to click on the option called "Transfer" and you will be here:

Now, you have to enter the recipient's name to whom you are sending the tokens and the amount as well.
Then click on "Next," enter your active key, and you will have successfully transferred the funds.

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Answer:

Yes i know, first we have to go to our wallet as i showed above then we have to click on steem again

after clicking on steem we have to click on the 3rd option which is "Power up", then it will show you that:

Write the amount of Steem you want to power up, enter your active key.
