Markdown is presented in various step, but it depends on what you want to do. Applying Markdown is the act by which an individual stylish his/her work or post in steemit.

EMPHASIS
heading should always be bold

the important things in emphasis is applying the star button *.

BLOCKQUOTES

markdown have different style by which text are organised, they include headers, emphasis, blockquote, and table. heading should be bold and italic can be add if necessary.

to do this you need to apply the greater sign > and input your text.
