Hello guys, it's been a while here and welcome back to my blog. Good to have you around always😍

I'll be writing my achievement task 3 which is on the content rules in steemit. As we all know that every territory is govern by rules in order for the people to be in peace and oneness. Here in Steem Territory, there're rules govern by it and there's a word called "PLAGIARISM" which is used to tag those who go against the rule.

WHAT DO I UNDERSTAND BY THE WORD PLAGIARISM?
Plagiarism is an act of taking someone else's idea, work, writeup, or item as though they are yours without giving remark/credit to the owner or source.
This can also be termed stealing from my end which is not so good cause of the damage it causes on one's personality. So for every writeup, image or idea you get, always remember to make reference to the source of it.

WHAT IS CITATION?
I would say Citation is the opposite of Plagiarism. How? Citation is an act of making reference or acknowledging a source of information or a quoted passage.
A link to the source of information is very crucial. For example:

“Presenting work or ideas from another source as your own, with or without consent of the original author, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement.

Below are the few types of Plagiarism with some little explanation.

• Complete Plagiarism: This happens when someone copies a whole work of another word for word without any form of reference to the source

• Direct plagiarism: This type happens when a writer copies part of someone's work/idea without making reference

• Accidental plagiarism: This type of Plagiarism is just as it name. It happens unintentionally as the writer can be a novice of what he or she is doing

• Self - Plagiarism: This occurs when a writer repeat his or her own word often times knowingly or unknowingly.

• Mosaic plagiarism: This happens when the writer copies from the source without citation

I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them.

Thanks to @cryptokannon and @ripon0630 for the opportunity

Kudos to @zakanem for the knowledge shared in his achievement 3 post
