My Introduction post to steemit, Mentorship by @ cryptokannon
Greetings to everyone.
My name is Chris Ubuo, from Nigeria. Making an introduction of myself to the Newcomer Community on Steemit. On the Steemit platform, I am @chrisubuo from Okobo Local Government Area of AkwaIbom. I was born on the 25th December,1987. Yes it was Christmas, and maybe I was attracted by the celebration, or something made Mum so exited that I wanted to see for yourself. I really don't know. What I am sure of is the fact that My current residence is the buzzling city of Uyo which some parts are presently experiencing a facelift with the expansion of some sections of Oron Road. Lots of beautiful houses have been pulled down and the contruction is in progress.
Education
Primary
I schooled at ST. Petter's Primary School Nung Atat ete,. Okobo Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State. The school was managed by the church and was exemplary in the quality of student it made for Common entrance examination
Secondary
I attended Iponri Estate Senior High School, Surulere, Lagos state. The school used British curriculum and standard making it a reputable school. The graduates of the school often gain express admission into tertiary institutions.
Tertiary
I studied public admin in Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Ikot Osurua in Ikot Ekpene and went for a one year compulsory service at Taraba state.
My Hobbies
My hobbies are writings, reading and singing, reading books and playing football.
My experience with crypto
I have known of the existence of cryptocurrecy but have not been involved with it. My work with Steemit will be my real first experience with cryptocurrecy

dishonesty, non-compliance and distrust.

How I came in contact with Steemit
A group of Steemian were promoting Steemit and @manuelhooks explaind it to me and I developed interest, based on the fact that it is not a type of network or a multilevel marketing scheme.
I appreciate the modalities put in place by @ngoenyi and @udyliciouz to train new comers in the Steemit platform

At first, we recommend you to continue making Achievement posts in Newcommers community and review this tutorial with the answers for the most important questions. Don’t you worry if for the first few days or even weeks you will be making the mistakes or writing great quality posts without expected income. Give yourself the time for learning all the stuff and being discovered by other users :) Write every day (or almost every day) and you will surely become successful at some point.
Before you will start writing, you have to select the communities where you want to be active. I recommend you to choose those of them that are related to your hobbies and, obviously, not too small. Personaly, I’d select any community with more than 75 users, but it’s your choice. To make it easier, I’m sending the link to the complete list of active communities on Steemit (searcher does not work well, so it’s better to use that list instead)
Finally, I would love to invite you to my own community Steem-Travelers. It’s all about traveling, culture, cuisine from all around the world, traditions et cetera. Plenty of great content to read and comment, plenty of interesting posts that you cound write there as well. We always appreciaate the best quality content, we are putting a lot of attention to the quality of the community announcements, graphics of the community as well as additional programs, like Guide with Travelers where you can offer your services as the local tour guide for some STEEM or Stay with Travelers where you can offer your apartment, room or bed in a shared room to rent for STEEM, a bit ‘Couchsurfing style’.
