Achievement 6 task by @chrishberry //understanding curation and community

Hello my fellow steemians,am done with my achievement 5 from task 1to task4.and today I will be sharing my understanding base on the my research concerning this achievement task 6 which says "understanding curation and community"

1) DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW VOTING AND CURATION WORKS IN STEEMIT

Yes I understand how voting and curation works on this platform.voting and curation works the same thing in steemit, this is how the users on this platform makes their fellow users post valuable.and how the author get to receive his or her reward payout.

Once your post or once a Post is voted, you will be giving the author of the Post some reward from your own reward pool and giving the reward has to depend on the steem power you have right in your wallet at your voting hour, rewarding an author is know as curation.

The usefulness of your vote depend on the amount of the SP that is very much available to you,here in steemit platform your vote have merit at the button of each content you post you made and comments, you will find it at the end of every content you post.

Here is the upvote button as seeing,you click on this button as a sign of approval on someone post and to give the Post reward base on your SP while trying to vote.once the upvote turn green that means a post or comments has just been voted.

2) WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU VOTE A POST AFTER 5 MINUTE

The 50% share that the curator get at the first 5 minute is calculated based on the time the vote took place.if my post or any other person post happens to be voted the very moment it's been posted, that means the 100% of the curation reward will still be intact in the reward pool.
Here are the things that happens once you vote a post after 5 minute.

In 1 minute) curator get 20% and 80% Will remain in the reward pool
In 2 minute) curator get 40% and 60% remain in the reward pool
In 3 minute) curator get 60% and 40% remain in the reward pool
In 4 minute) curator get 80% and 20% will remain in the reward pool

At this point if your post is voted in 5 minute time or more than five minute of posting your content, that definitely means that 100% of the curation reward will definitely go the curator.

3) WHO WILL YOU VOTE FOR THE STEEM WITNESS

A witness is one who use a witness server (which produces blocks),and publishes a price feed of steem/USD to the network.the witness are one of the most important social roles in the steem environment.if a witness does not produce a block in his/her time slot,then that time slot is skipped and the next witness produces the next block.

The election of witness is provided by the steem community, and they're elected through a voting system that is based on the stake of the voters.

For me the witness i will vote for are
@justyy a great personality that introduce steemyy.com same thing applicable to @steemchiller that introduce steemword organization. i have learnt alot on steemit,and also with the help of this great people i was able to understand so many things in this platform.

At least I can access information about my account, make delegation and so on.

4) WHICH COMMUNITY WILL YOU JOIN AND WHY

There are numerous community here in steemit Platform, The only thing you have to do is to goin anyone of your choice. Community on steemit are group of people looking to assist each other to grow in the blockchain,here are the communities i have chosen

STEEM WOMEN CLUB

This community is made for woman alone, this is where different woman's share different things that has to do with woman.it can be baking, skincare, hygiene, things to do after giving birth,how to loose weight easily and so on.

STEEM FOOD

In this community you are free to share different types of recipe that is made by you with the step for the food preparation.you joining this community will assist you to learn different types of recipe even the ones you have not come across with.

CRYPTO ACADEMY

This community will assist to educate you more on crypto currencies.this community have professor that will teach and give you take home assignment to work on.i admire this community so much why because it help you Know about crypto currencies and how they work.

CONCLUSION

Am so grateful for all the task i have gone through from 1-6, I have learnt alot on this platform and all thanks to @cryptokannon for your mentor, God bless you all as you read through.
