What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism means presenting or stealing someone's work or idea as your own with or without their consent, by including by it your work without full acknowledgement.

    TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

VERBATIM PLAGIARISM
This is words to words. This means copying the author of a particular work in the exact way the author wrote it.

ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
This type of plagiarism is done unknowingly. Accidental plagiarism is the same with other plagiarism and therefore no excuse for it. On one way, I think accidental plagiarism, should be pardoned because it's not intentional. If I ask some groups to describe me physically, I will be described the same way by all of them instead, and with this, it's inevitable for them not to write the same thing.

MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
This occurs when a person borrows phrases without using quotation marks or find synonyms from the author's language.

            CONSEQUENCES OF PLAGIARISM

1. It tarnishes ones image
2. Expulsion
3. It leads to careless research.

CITATION
This involves you letting the reader knows that a particular work is from different source. This is to give the reader a decent information about your work.

                TYPES OF CITATION

1. Turabian style
2. Modern language Association (MLA)
3. American Psychological Association (APA)
