Achievement 5 Task 2: Review Steemscan.com // 11th June 2021 // by @chilaw //
Hello Great friends of this platform, it is my pleasure coming to the newcomers community to complete my achievement tasks which i know would help me engage other community tasks comprehensively and efficiently while using them. For this post, I will try and explore and show my understanding on the STEEMSCAN following the questions asked by mentor @cryptokannon.
Please explain the current Steem price and volumes on date of submission of this review?
As at the time of this post, the price of steem is valued at $0.49 which translate to about 250NGN of my local currency. It has a supply of 384,502,502 STEEM and 7,910,552 SBD. The screenshot displaying the graph also shows the daily market trend and volumes traded on this cryptocurrency coin seen at $0.49 and $20,000.00 respectively.
Please explain What all information is shown under latest transactions and latest blocks section?
The Latest transaction as captured in the screenshot have details of the following:
- Block ID
- ID
- Timestamp
- Sender
- Receiver
- Type
- Amount
All these listed details clearly shows us what all that is contained and captured in a single transaction made in the Steemit blockchain. For an individual transaction completed in the network, there must be sender and receiver, a block ID and ID, transaction time seen as timestamp. Also is the type of transaction which varies but include if it was a vote, re-blog, claiming of rewards and amount involved or percentage vote given.
Just like the latest transaction, the latest blocks have similar details captured in it but this time has to be specific on the miner and block transactions. We have details as follows here;
- ID
- Height
- Timestamp
- Block Transactions
- Mined by
Just as explained for the latter, details still remains so as repeated for ID and Timestamp. The Block transaction shows us the number of blocks while Mined by gives us the name of the Miner in the blockchain who validated that given transaction.
