I feel very excited so far I have gone, I thank God for his grace and strength to come thus far. I also want to appreciate @xcool24 and @hisgeneral for their wonderful efforts. It wouldn't have been easy without them.

My achievement 5 tasks has been completed and duly verified, It is my pleasure to commence my achievement 6 task.

This achievement task is all about community and curation, the purpose is to get starters get familiar with the use of third party application, making it easier for them to know how they can be able to create or join already existing community. It provides them with clue and the knowledge of how curation and witness works and how they can vote for witness and how they can vote for witness.

Voting

When someone makes a post,it seen that two buttons always exist in all post. The two buttons are the: Upvote and Downvote.

Upvotes

Upvotes is the process of distributing rewards.
Whenever the Upvote button is utilized, there will be a distribution of reward and a particular amount comes up as payout for the post. The post payout is subjected to Steem Power and also the voting weight. That is to say that reward flows to the post being posted from the reward.

Downvote

Downvote, unlike the Upvote is the process of redistribution of rewards based on the influencing power of the person downvoting.
Downvote is just the opposite of of Upvote. When Downvote button is pressed, the reward received initially goes back to the reward pool. Though, the amount of reward that will go back to the reward pool is dependent on the Steem Power (SP) and voting power of the downvoter.

Curation

Curation is the process of voting a post. It is the act of using the Upvote button.

A person who curates is called a curator. A curator is never charged because of curating a post. A curator earns a reward for curating a post. This means that when a curator upvote a post he is rewarded but when he Downvote a post, there is no reward. A post is most rewarded if it is curated between 5 minutes, 12 hours and 6 days age of the post. This is explained by @sapwood.

What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

When a vote is done before 5 minutes of a post, there is certain percentage that the curator will lose. Take for instance, a post is voted at 4 minutes of posting, the curator loses 20% of his curation reward. If it was voted at 3 minutes, he loses 40% of curation reward and so on.

Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?

If I am to vote for Steem Witness, I will vote for @steemchiller. This is because he possesses an extraordinary mental capacity and skill in carrying out a wonderful work in developing a highly regarded blockchain tool known as the steemworld.org. This is a tool that can be used without much supervisions, that is to say that it is user friendly.

Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?

If am to choose a community, I will choose the financial security community, this is because the community educates and informs the participants on how their finances can be safe and secured including their Steemit coins and wallet. It also provides educative platform on how you can manage and judiciously utilize your finances in order not to spend extravagantly and become financially insolvent.
