Wonderful steemians, welcome to my achievement 2post where I will be sharing my insight on Basic Security On Steem. I will share my insight on what I understand about the basic keys on steemit, on how these keys works,how Steem wallet functions,what is Steem wallet etc.

Achievement 2: Basic security on steemit.
What are steemit keys?
Steemit is a platform that has given users keys to secure their account. These keys provide safety to users account and are advised not to share their password with anyone. When an individual newly register their account, they are given their master password.
Steemit keys are:
Posting keys🔑.
Permission keys🔑.
Active keys🔑.
Memo keys🔑.
Owner keys 🔑.
Each steemit keys have their own functions and enable users opportunities to create and publish a content.
What do I understand by master password?
A master password is used to derive all keys for your account, including the owner key. It's advisable to save your master password safe where it won't be loosed, if not your account and tokens will be stolen because your steemit account has real value.

-Posting keys.
This keys is advised to be kept safe because if hackers get access to your keys,they will vote or post on your steemit account and cause a lot of damages on your steemit account. Posting keys is used for posting,voting, commenting,editing and following.
-Permission keys.
This key perform specific purpose on steemit and to avoid using your master password for any operation. A steemit account that have 5 unique passwords generated is called permission keys 🔑.
-Active key.
This key is used for transferring funds, account settings, powering ups etc.
-Memo key.
It is used for encrypting and decrypting private information or messages when there is money transaction.
-Owner key.
Owner key is a very powerful key because it can change any key of account including owner key.
N:B Ensure to keep your owner key safe to avoid losing your account.

  Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Answer; Yes, I have retrieved all my keys on steemit. I retrieved it after my account was created and it was successful.

Question 2: Do you know each of these key function and restrictions?
Answer; Yes, I know each of these key functions and restrictions. I made a blog above about it.

Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?
Answer; I have copied it to a hardcopy note and copying to my hard drive.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem account?
Answer; Yes, by clicking on the transfer button, insert the receiver's name, put in my private active keys and send. Below is an image on how to transfer your steem token to another account
