What is Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of using another person's work to justify a glory you didn't earn either by copying or by borrowing of words, ideas or even images without giving credit to the original author, it's all a disguise of the same sin

Types of plagiarism
There are many types of plagiarism but I will mention just a few as the spirit leads

1. Direct plagiarism
   This is when a writer copies word for word , verbatim without even changing a thing, copies like a copy cat without use of quotation marks

2. Inaccurate authorization
   This is when one gets credit for a work he didn't contribute to, more like reaping where he didn't sow

3. Accidental plagiarism
   This is common with students, when they copy without knowing the offense of plagiarism but as we all know, ignorance is not an excuse and they will still be punished

4. paraphrasing plagiarism
   It's a type of plagiarism very common with those who are good in English, where they paraphrase the author and take the credit

5. Source base plagiarism
   This is the type of plagiarism in which the auto didn't cite his work correctly either given wrong credit to the wrong work

How to avoid plagiarism

• Avoid copying works from people, try to be original
• Do your best to put quotation marks where necessary
• Always give an accurate citation

That brings us to understanding what citation is about

What is citation
Citation is a form of praise gotten or giving from accurate quotation or reference from the accurate source, more like an opposite of plagiarism
