Achievement 2 @brytedem Task: Basic Security On Steemit

Good morning Steemians, I am here again with a post on my Achievement 2 that is "Basic Security On Steemit platform". Yes security issues on the internet is very key to account holders or internet users in general. Imagine loosing your account you third parties just because you made a simple mistake.
Thanks to Steemit for providing us with series of keys or better put passwords to protect our accounts from intruders. Yes I have been able to retrieve all of my keys pertaining to Steemit courtesy @kayduke. And I have been able to store them in my mail as draft and written them down in my phone notebook and also on paper.
Understanding the functions of these keys hasn't been easy but upon reading and guidance I have come to terms with them and how each of these keys functions on the Steemit platform.

Posting key - The posting key allows us accounts holders to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or mute other accounts. You are more likely to have your password or key compromised the more you use it so a limited posting key exists to restrict the damage that a compromised account key would cause.

Active key - The active key is meant for activities like transferring funds, power up/down transactions, converting Steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and avatar, and placing a market order. These activities are termed more sensitive.

Owner key - The owner key alias "the most powerful". It is the most powerful key because it can change any key of an account, including the owner key. The owner key is basically stored offline and used to retrieve other keys including the owner key.

Memo key - The last key which is the memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds. In encrypting a memo, use the pound/# sign before it.

The Master key, as the name goes is the master of all the keys because it is used to generate all the keys including the owner key and also used in an account recovery situation. I have stored this most important password as a draft in my mail and also written it down manually.

In transferring your Steem token, it should be a simple process:
Go to wallet.
first log in the wallet account through active key.
Then Click on the dropdown near steem.

Click on transfer.
Enter the recipient's name and amount

Then click on NEXT.

To power up your steem you follow this simple process:

Go to wallet.
Then Click on the dropdown near steem.
Click on power up.
Then enter the amount of Steem token you want to power up.
And then click POWER UP.

This education is an all important one and an eye opener for me and I believe my take on this topic will help somebody understand better too.
