Achievement 5 task 4 by @bright-obias | my review of steem.Db.io

Hello steemians welcome to my blog, as regard to the pro-minnow project by @steemcurator01 and @cryptokannon and the achievement 5 task 4, I reviewed the steemdb.io tool and below is my review based on my understanding of how it works

What is steemDb.io

SteemDb is a block explorer and a platform where steem blockchain stores it's data. to access steemdb's platform visit or open steemdb.io on your phones browser. a page that looks like the below image will show up.

That's the home interface of the steemdb.io website. in this home page, it displays the current chart of steem/BTC price on the markets. actually this is not the only feature that is contained in this home page. below are some features

Features of steemdb.io

• 30-Day MVest Distribution
  this feature is located within the home interface of the steemdb's platform. it states clearly the percentage of distrubution to authors, curation, commenters, interest and witnesses. the values are in Mega Vests.

when you hover your mouse on then value it displays the exact outcome of the Vests.

• Recent Blockchain activity

This displays the most recent irreversible blocks. it is aligned under the 30-day MVests Distribution. it keeps live record of the followong

• votes
• comments
• transfers
• claiming of account
• comments options etc

Thats a great feature as it updates itself.

Accounts

This sectoin is located on top of the home page after the 'steemdb'

This sections contains the accounts of users on steem blockchain. below is an image example

as you can see from the image above it is well sorted by by various metrics(richlist by default) and can also be filtered according to richlist, post, social and reputation. under the richlist it has a drop down menu that contains vest, sbd, steem and power down that enable the list to be sorted in descending order

Posts

This is another section that displays a number of post per day on the steem blockchain. it is arranged in descending order based on the highest number of earnings and can also be ordered according to the number votes

Witnesses

The witness section shows you the witness that can be found on the blockchain, it is arranged in the order of votes. from the image below you will see that @steemchiller is at the top followed by @future.witness and @justyy.

it also has categories like history which displays more historical information that is associated with the witnesses.

Steemdb labs

this is another feature on the steemdb's platform, it is use for experimental testing projects that are not yet embedded on steemdb's platform. it also provide testing grounds for project that might be added to steemdb in the nearest future

Below are some Efficacy of Steemdb

• It provides a chart on the top witnesses on the chain and their histories.
• it provides live chart of steem/bitcoin price
  It allows users to search for various account in the search toolbar at the top right hand side.
• It provides the relevant details of account holding the most reputations, steem, posts and so on.
