We have many basic keys and their functions here on steemit such keys are ;

• The master key

• The posting key

• The active key

• The owner key

• The memo key

All these listed above are the keys and they are all retrieved and kept in a safe zone.

The master key

it is the most silent key among other keys with it you can derive all other keys and you are bound from showing it to the third party to avoid a stolen token.

I intend to keep my master key by saving it offline and also observing the encrypted methods, not t any third party to see it to avoid unauthorized users.

The posting key

It permits an account to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or mute other accounts. Constanct use of posting key can get it compromised so to avoid that you limit how you make use it.

The active key

As the name implies it is a sensitive task meant for transferring funds, transactions, converting steem dollar.

The owner key stand as an important key among all keys on steem.As early stated above regular use of posting key may cause comprised issue but with the help of owner key you will recover it.
