Plagiarism definition

It a process of using another person's ideas or work and pretending that it is your own with or without their consent by incorporating it into your own work without full acknowledgement. This maybe intentional or reckless or unintentional

Why you should avoid plagiarism

It will help you to learn by yourself to develop your own knowledge, because you are expected to be an independent one, in times of knowledge, it will help to give you liberty to speak your mind when necessary not paraphrasing the writings of other.

Types of plagiarism

They are as follows

Paraphrasing plagiarism

This type of plagiarism is very common. And it involves the use of someone else’s writing with or without little changes in the sentences and using it as your own. This is usually practiced by student, Even when the words differ, the original content or information remains the same and plagiarism can occur.

Accidental Plagiarism

Whether intended or unintended, there is no excuse for plagiarism and the consequences are often the same. However, plagiarism may be accidental if it occurred because of neglect, mistake, or unintentional paraphrasing.
Mosaic Plagiarism.

Mosaic plagiarism

This type of plagiarism may be more difficult to detect because it interlays someone else’s phrases or text within its own research. It is also known as patchwork plagiarism and it is intentional and dishonest.

Complete plagiarism

This type is the most severe form of plagiarism where a person totally study without minor changes what someone else created and submit under his or her name.

Direct plagiarism

This occurs when an author copies text of another author word to word, without the use of quotation marks or attribution thus passing it his or her own.

Tips on how to avoid

1.)Always learn to express your own ideas and opinion
2.) Properly cite your own resources
3.) Stop waiting until the last minute.

I hope that was good enough
