KEYS

As a key is use to excess some kind of locker or something to open the gate etc etc,in crypto platforms keys are use similarly for this purposes
There are two type of keys public and private

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE KEYS

There's a simple difference between them, I will try to explain it with example. Suppose you have a locker in which you have your precious money. Now let's assume that this locker is transparent and anyone can see what's inside it but can they reach to it or use it. Answer is no they can't. So who can? Those who have they locker's special key. And if it's your locker you must've this key. Do you have excess to your locker? Yes you have and you can consume things inside it. Will you give it to someone? No you won't.
Similarly your public key is your locker and your private key is it's special key. You have excess to you public keys with the help of your private keys. And everyone can see what's in your public key but do not have excess to it

TYPES OF KEYS

There are six types of keys in steemit
• Private active key
• Private owner key
• Private posting key
• Private memo key
• Tron private key
• Tron public key
• Master password

PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY

It is your wallet key,by this key you control your steemit wallet. You can control all kind of transactions and uses of your wallet. Such as transferring steem or power up or power down
The steem and SBD control by it. You have to make sure that this key must be kept totally private that only you have excess to it

PRIVATE OWNER KEY

It's major function is to recover your account within 30 days but it can also use for to reset all the private keys

PRIVATE POSTING KEY

This particular key is use to login and post in steemit platform

PRIVATE MEMO KEY

This particular key is use to deposit money into your account

TRON PRIVATE KEY

This key operate transactions in your tron account. You can transfer through it

TRON PUBLIC KEY

It is the address where you send the tokens

MASTER PASSWORD

Master password is the most important key it can be use in place of any of the key that are mentioned above. Make sure you keep it highly safe

By signing in your wallet and then clicking on steem you got several options, among them by clicking on transfer you can transfer steem tokens
