Achievement-2 | Different keys and Basic info of Steemit | @bilalarshad16

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing good. Today I'm here to post my achievement 2 which was suggested to me by @vvarishay. I've already posted my achievement 1 and want to thank you all for a good response on that.

In this post, I'll be asked some questions about security of steemit account and basic knowledge about different keys on #steemit so let's get into it.

1. Have you retrieve all keys on steemit?

YES, I've successfully retrieved and downloaded all the keys in PDF format provided by steemit.

2. Do you know each of the key functions and restrictions?

YES I'm fully aware of all keys and their functions and restrictions.
The keys are as follows.

MASTER KEY

It is one of the most important key as it is the most powerful one. Through this key we generate our passwords. It must be kept private as if someone has access to this key, then they can misuse or steal your account. So it is very crucial that this key must be kept private and safe.

POSTING KEY

It is used to carry out all of the platform's social work. If we have our posting key, we can post, comment, vote and resteem. We can also use this key to log into our Steemit account.

ACTIVE KEY

This key is basically used to control our wallet and the various operations related to it. All we have to do is to log into our accounts with the help of this key and we can perform operations like funds, withdrawal, transactions and even conversions easily.

OWNER KEY

Owner key is equally important as Master key; it is also powerful and can be used to change passwords. However, it can also be used to recover our accounts, which Master Key cannot do.

MEMO KEY

Memo key is used to encrypt and decrypt private messages when that is trying to transferring steem then he/she can use this key to send a private message with it.

3. How you plan to keep your master password?

I've downloaded the pdf in my phone and in my laptop and also saved it to google drive.

4. Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another account?

Yes, I know how to transfer. Actually it is a matter of few steps
Step 1:
Click on your profile pic on the top right corner, a drop down menu will appear. After that click on 'wallet'.

Step 2:
Click on this arrow next to the STEEM DOLLARS

Step 3:
A drop down menu will appear. After that click on 'transfer'.

Step 4:
Type the username of the person whom you want to transfer the amount and then enter their memo. After clicking on 'next' it will ask for your password to authenticate the transfer.

5. Do you know how to power up your steem?

Yes, it is an easy step and involves the following steps.

Step 1:
Go to your wallet. There will be a small arrow next to STEEM.. A drop down menu will appear and after that click on 'Power up'.

Step 2:
Now simply enter the amount that you want to convert and then click on 'Power up'.

So these were some questions that I was asked to answer.
