Yes, I understand how voting and curation works in steemit.
There is a fixed reward pool on steemit from where users vote and distribute reward to good content creator in steemit. To reward a post means to Vote.

Vote

Users who distributes the reward gets 50% of the reward distributed, this is called the curation reward, while the remaining 50% is called authors reward which goes to the content creator after 7days of posting.

Voting Mana is "like a batter indicator" in a mobile phone that shows the life of the battery of he mobile phone. It goes down Everytime you vote. Just like the battery bar shows 100% when fully charged and goes down while being used, the voting Mana, shows 100% and goes down as you vote, it is alled your voting power.

The network charges the voting Mana everyday by 20%.

One can vote more that 10 times per day because every 100% vote casted uses 2% of the remaining voting mana.

What happens if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

It is noted that 50% of the distributed rewards goes back to the user that coted which is called curator reward.

The curator can only get 100% of the reward if he voted after 5 minutes of posting.

When you vote a post before 5 minutes marks of posting, certain percentage of the curation reward remains in the reward pool.

Who will you vote for Steem witnesses and why?

As a newbie on steemit, I do not have a favourite Witness to vote for, therefore I will vote for as many witness I come across, for their great work in maintaining the blockchain.

Which Community will you join in steemit and why?

There are lots of communities I came across when I joined steemit and i have joined few of them, but one particular community that I joined is Motivational stories.

I joined this community because one of my aim here on steemit is writing motivational content, using them to reach out to young minds that might be depressed and needs just one word to get revived.
