Understanding how voting and curation work in steemit

Voting on Steemit is known as curation. Each and every user of Steemit has the option to vote, however the weight of their vote is based on their Steem power. Voting is one of the most significant social activities on Steemit. On this platform, votes for posts are given depending on how well-written they are and it must be authentic and of high quality. Through voting, Steemit users give other users' posts value, and voting also rewards writers for their contributions. There are two different voting options on Steemit. Upvote and Downvote are the two. Users will upvote your posts if they are positive, but they will downvote you if they are bad.

Your power in Voting Mana will diminish each time you upvote a post, but it will recover as it recharges itself by roughly 20% every day. Voting is advisable because the Vote Mana recharges more slowly the more you vote.

What happens if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting

Following payout, the person who posted or left the comment receives the remaining 50% of the award, with 50% going to the curator. When a post gets upvoted right away after it is published, the entire curation incentive is kept in the rewards pot. The percentage of votes cast before five minutes had passed following the posting is displayed below.
