Greetings to you all steemit members. This is @barnabie, after a long time publishing my first achievement task, I decided to penned down my #achivement2
it's a great pleasure.

Now, y'all should be aware of what achievement 2 is all about (basic security on steem)

just as the name goes ; steemit is Concocted with different keys and different functions which made it unique & not-so-easy for internet fraudsters. Chill, as I walk you through different types of keys and their respective functions.

ANSWERS TO KEYS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS

#Question 1:
Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?
#Answer:
No! I'm yet to, hoping to retrieve them soon.

#Question 2:
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
#Answer:
Yes I know them, they are as follows;
#Posting Key; I call this key unique because it's the only key that can't be used for monetary actions. it's good to note that, even if someone has access to your posting key, your funds will be intact as it has nothing to do with that , nevertheless it should be stored safely. it can be use for:
Editing a post or comment
Upvote or downvote content
Resteeming content
Following people & to
Mute accounts.

To access your posting key, it's a simple as going to your steemit wallet, then keys & permissions

scroll down a bit, click posting key in between Tron account and active key and your posting key will be show below 😉

#Active key; unlike posting key, active key has monetary permission that shouldn't be tempered with. you can use this key to ;
Transfer tokens
Power STEEM up or down
SBD conversion
Vote for witnesses
Place an order on an exchange
Certain profile changes
Publish a Witness price feed
Create a new user.
to access it, go to wallet, then keys & permissions

then active key , click reveal

its that simple.
#Owner key:
this key is very important bcos with this key, you can recover your account or change all the entire keys and decline voting rights.
go to wallet, keys & permissions

, owner key and click reveal to access it

that's just it

#Memo key
this key is less powerful, it's use only for sending and receiving encrypted messages .
to access it, I go to wallet, then keys & permissions,

I now scroll down a bit and click memo key located in between owner key and public keys,

and your memo key will display.
#master password:
as the name goes(master) all other keys are being created out of it . it's not a key, it's a password. keeping it safe is a most .
Moving to the next question which is:
#Question 3:
How do you plan to keep your master password.
#Answer:
I plan to download the copy of my master password in my most secured pdf app, as that's not enough, I'll download offline copy of it and keep it confidential.
#Question 4:
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
#Answer:
Yes I know . below is the procedure;
after being powered down my steem, I go to wallet , I click where it's boldly written Steem ,

5 items popup which are Transfer, Transfer to savins, power up, trade & market i now click the first option (Transfer)

a new page opens where i have to input the receiver's account name and amount I wish to transfer

as shown below in the pic, it's that simple.
#Question 5
Do you know how to power up your steem ?
#Answer:
of course yes I do !
this is how to go about it.
i log in to my Steemit wallet, click on Steem, then on power up,

a new page display where I can put the amount i want to power up after that , click power up it's that awesome 😊✔️.
