,Achievement 2 @auspow99 Task: Basic security on Steem

Hello all. I'm here once again with my achievement 2 post....enjoy!
The Steemit Blockchain platform has taken various measures to integrate into its system 'high-level security checks' to ensure maximum protection and safety of its user's assets. One of the measures taken by Steemit administrators manifests in the form of long-string characters called "Keys" which are allocated to every user (not excluding myself) upon registration.

Have you retrieved all your Keys?

Why yes I have good sir.

Do you know each of these Keys functions and restrictions?

Yes I do. Each key function has thankfully been expatiated on under the 'Keys and Permissions' sub-tab which is found in 'Wallet'.

The functions of each key has been summarised as follows;

• Posting Key; Used for social actions such as posting, commenting and voting on Steemit. It could also be used to access other Steem-powered Social networks such as Esteem and Busy.

• Active Key; This is required for monetary transactions such as Token transfer and exchange.

• Owner Key; used to recover stolen accounts or for changing keys. It's the most important of the security keys. It is strongly adviced to be stored offline.

• Memo Key; used to encrypt and decrypt private messages sent on the Blockchain. It isn't really that commonly used for time being and time being and requires the minimum authorities.

• Public Key; These are Keys used to access transactions associated to respective usernames on the Blockchain. They can't be used for login purposes and as such don't need to be stored safely.

How do you plan to keep your Master Password?

I've written it down in form of hardcopy, sent it to my mail & created multiple word documents of it.

Do you know how to transfer your Steem token to another Steem token user's account?

Yes I do and here is a step-by-step follow through on how to go about it;

Step 1:_ Click on your profile icon. Your wallet link will pop up in the resulting tab. Click on it.

Step 2:_ Once in wallet, click on your Steem balance

Step 3:_ Click on "Transfer"

Step 4:_ Fill in the following spaces accordingly(The Memo should be the Memo Key of the recipient's address).

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes I do and here's a guide on it;

Step 1:_follow every step up to Step 2 of the above guide.

Step 2:_rather than clicking on the transfer option, click on the 'Power up' option this time around.

Fill in the following spaces, click on 'Power up' and viola you're good to go. 👍
