Dear fellow steemiams, I’m presenting another achievement post after reading and understanding the instructions given by @cryptokannon concerning plagiarism.

PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Under the regulations for examinations, intentional or reckless plagiarism is a disciplinary offence.

Consequences of Plagiarism

• Your post may not be voted or worse still, down-voted by community members if it is found offensive or it has no proper citation to article that are not yours originally.
• You will be breaching copyright laws and it may lead to legall prosecution.
• You may loose your republican and thus future career improvement may be at risk.

How to avoid Plagiarism

Everything in your article that are not originally yours, ranging from images to group of words should have a link pointing to the owner, for example: I just used a definition from oxford university so I had to cite the source of the definition, click source of definition and I’ll take you to the original owner of the definition.
If you’re finding it hard to get free images for your post, well here are some websites where you can get free images on the net:

Link sources of copied or downloaded contents

• If you’ve used idea or words that are not yours, make sure to point the source and owner of such ideas or words.
• If your article contains images that are not yours, add a link as close as possible to the image or images to lead to the source.

Include quotations

• Use a > to quote full sentences or paragraphs from someone else.
• When you use someone else’s words in your article, add quotation marks to show that you’re quoting someone.

Present your own idea

It will be encouraging to you make your own ideas, something everyone will benefit from, and most of all you’ll be free from plagiarism.

The instructions given by @cryptokannon are very educative and I've read and understood them, and have agreed tob abide by them.
